About Forgotten Hill: Puppeteer

A missing companion and a ticket to a puppet theatre lead you into Forgotten Hill: Puppeteer. This point-and-click adventure connects theatre rooms, strange characters and puzzles built from clues hidden in ordinary objects. Your inventory links the locations: a discovery in one room can provide the answer or tool needed somewhere else.

Use the Ticket at the Entrance

Before entering, inspect the ticket carefully. Three symbols along its bottom form the clue for the theatre door. Change the symbols on the door to match the ticket, then go inside. The ticket remains useful in the lobby, where you can present it at the booth to continue through the next door.

This opening shows how the game handles clues: the object and the mechanism may be close together, but you still need to notice the relationship between them. Examine the full object instead of treating it only as a decorative image.

Explore the Theatre

Once inside, inspect the hallway and adjoining rooms. A broken mirror in the bathroom provides a piece you can take; elsewhere, pictures, posters and mechanisms supply information for later puzzles. The official guide points to a poster in the ticket office as the hint for a wardrobe puzzle, so return to the image when you encounter that mechanism.

When you find a locked route, remember what kind of object or pattern it needs. New inventory items can be carried back to earlier rooms, while a visual clue may need to be compared with a mechanism rather than collected. If you are stuck, inspect both the item and the place where you intend to use it.

Practical Tips

  • Compare the ticket symbols with the entrance before trying random combinations.
