Fear the Spotlight follows Vivian and Amy into Sunnyside School after hours. A séance goes wrong, separating the friends and drawing Vivian into a distorted part of the school. Search for Amy by examining rooms and solving object-based puzzles while avoiding the creature with a spotlight for a head.
Explore, Hide and Use Your Tools
Look through classrooms, lockers and offices for notes, keys and useful items. A tool can help with more than the first obstacle where you use it, so remember blocked vents, locked containers and other places you may need to revisit.
When the spotlight enemy is nearby, use the environment for cover and move carefully around its light. Shelves and tables can help break its view. Wait for an opening before crossing an exposed area, then return to the clue or object you were investigating.
A Locker-Room Puzzle
In the locker room, search a gym bag for a keycard and use it to enter the office. A note helps you find the toolbox combination, 001. Take the screwdriver from the toolbox and use it to remove a vent cover; beyond the vent, explore the shower area and use the screwdriver on the drain cover to find coins.
The coins can be used at the vending machine for glue. Return to the toolbox and use the glue to repair the pliers. Those pliers help you collect a rose from the grave in the locker room; offer the rose to the nearby statue to open the way onward.
