Escape the Nextbot Maze

NEXTBOTS: Labyrinth of Terror is an escape challenge built around movement through a maze while nextbots pursue you. The passages can turn a quick sprint into a dead end, so finding a route and recognising junctions are as important as reacting to a nearby threat.

How to Play

Move with WASD and use the mouse to look around. Space jumps, Shift accelerates and Esc pauses the game. Explore the corridors for the way out, watching for nextbots that can block the passage you planned to use. Change direction early when a route becomes dangerous and try to reconnect with a familiar part of the maze.

Pay attention to junctions rather than treating each corridor as an isolated stretch. If you know where a turn leads, you can make a more deliberate choice when a pursuer appears. Speed is valuable when it carries you toward an open route, but rushing into an unexplored corner can leave you trapped.

Maze Survival Tips

  • As you enter a long passage, note an alternate turn you can use if a nextbot appears ahead.
  • Use distinctive corners and room features as landmarks. They can help you recognise whether you have returned to a known route.
  • Look before accelerating around a bend. A fast turn into a closed passage gives you less time to change direction.
  • After escaping a chase, pause to re-establish your position before exploring another branch.

The goal is to reach the exit while adapting your route to the threats currently in the maze.
